What are the best deals out there for Broadband, TV and phone. I'm thinking about EE. I don't need super fast BB.
Vodafone' i was with virgin for years constantly getting striped' moved to vodafone last year had no trouble at all' over 400mbps £30 a month..
I’ve had no issues with EE (was with BT), but they’re not the cheapest. Do you have sky as they’re doing reasonable deals.
I was with Virgin for years and had a fair few conversations with them, either online or the phone. Usually ended with a better deal or a discount. I think they try it on but if you say no then they go out of their way to keep you as a customer.
EE is the best in my experience, though not the cheapest. Had broadband with them for the last 5 years, and previously had my mobile contract with them with no issues whatsoever. I'm currently on a sim only deal for mobile with Lebara, which operates on Vodafone's network. I got a deal through confused.com where the first 6 months are £1 then it goes up to £8 pm. I think that's unlimited calls and texts and 15GB of data, which is plenty for me. It's a month to month contract too, so if my phone packs in, I can renew somewhere else and get a new phone.
We're with EE, changed from Virgin when we moved house as it's not available where we are. No problems at all with the broadband, but the TV box is absolutely w@nk. Wife spent hours on the phone to them when we first joined, we were getting billed twice for some parts of the package, was a bit of a nightmare.
I did that but they passed me over to another 3 operators who all said no dice' then 2 days before my vodafone installment date they rang matching the price but i blew them out and the guy got quite stroppy..
We went with Sky after Virgin got too expensive, no dish just through the Broadband and it’s not too bad TBF
Had a recent go with them after they told me my payment would double after the end of my recent contract deal, got put through to a couple of operators one said that was it no scope to reduce, one offered to knock a tenner off so I said sorry that's ridiculous and rang off, waited a bit for them to ring back which they did and got a renewal at virtually the original price.
As it’s streamed and not through cable there’s a few seconds of delay. When the Glass system (same interface etc as Stream) came out it was a lot worse, they’ve done a lot of fine tuning to try and make it as close to live time as possible but as with any streaming platform it’s not right on time such as the Sky Q is, and the fact you can’t record but only add stuff to the playlist makes me try to direct anyone I speak with to go with Q. I work for a company who has an affiliation with Sky so we have the knowledge that they’re trying to do away with Q which I originally thought may cause a lack of new customers but both Stream and Glass are delivering good sales tbh. When your contract is due up remember to ring up and ‘renegotiate’, I legally can’t say haggle
I changed to Virgin in March as they'd just installed full fibre. There is a fault with my router (diagnosed by IT mate) and I've found their support is non-existent. Very unhappy
