Does anyone else reckon they disconnect broadband customers on a regular basis in order to save bandwidth and money?

My broadband has been running intermittently recently, usually disconnecting regularly on Tues morns or Fri afts. Then....when I call them to report a fault it is miraculously reconnected.

    Hmmmm.... (doh)

    Yes I'm sure they do.

I worked with a guy up in Leeds and he was convinced they they did as well and he was a bit of a computer nurd.

Mine has been hit and miss ever since the 50 meg came on stream.

Mine had been off from Monday until last night. My mates was down from las Thursday

Foned em up to report the problem and already and a pre-recorded message saying about "those in the S70 and S71 postcodes of Barnsley are having problems and the engineers are fixing it right now".

Never had a problem before and been spot on since last night
