I've got a virus called "winPC Antivirus". A right bugger. I've got AVG but it got through that and it does not find it if I do a scan. Downloaded other software that does a scan and tells me what it is but they all want me to pay for the fix. Anyone any ideas how I can get rid of it for nowt? Cheers.
That's it. I have already seen this and tried the links given there and although they scan your system for free you have to pay for the fix. I'll play about with it some more and see if I can do it manually. Cheers.
Has tha tried downloading SpywareDoctor or similar?
Shifted an annoying little trojan I got a while back. Since then I try to surf in Linux.
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/

Tried that. It scans and tells me what it is but wants me to pay for the fix - they all seem to. Looks like I might have to!
