Virus help required

I have AVG anti virus free edition and it shows no virus present and I regularly use spy bot. My desktop now has a black background and a flashing warning in red saying that i might be infected with adware etc. What do i do?:S

 

Download Microsoft Spyware (Google), run it and delete the infection.

 

How do i get the free one, they all want to charge after scanning?
