does anyone know the link to the file that you can email yourself with a dummy virus to test your antivirus system

Just dumped Macafee as it kept crashing my computer and I want to make sure AVG free edition works with outlook express
    Cheers

hope you are talking about Macafee, it kept switching the bloogy computer off and emails took an eternity to download
I know AVG is good, especially with Microsoft office, but not sure with express

No, unfortunately I'm talking about Outlook Express and AVG. However, I haven't quite worked out whether it was just that or because Norton was also pre-installed and running in the background.

If you did have Norton in the background that would cause all kinds of probs. I had to completely get shut of all traces of it when I changed to McAfee a while back.

There's a tool thats on the Norton website that completely cleans any traces from your system.

Thanks love, it was Norton that was causing the problems. Managed to get shut of it and everything is hunky dory.
