As a result of slow response on my pc, especially very slow response on using scrollbars down the side of screens I thought I may have a problem Tried to do a "run"/"regedit" and couldn't get anything to come up except a quick-fire black screen saying "XMS driver not installed". Typed this into google and it said it was result of a possible virus, and to run Adaware or similar. Did this and up came the results of a worm/trojan called "winupdates.exe" Cleared it ok. Further investigation on google took me to a forum site where someone had had this problem..... AND...... was getting Limewire constantly loaded on to his pc ........ this is exactly the problem I'd been having yesterday !!! So if anyone out there uses Limewire it might be a good idea to check your "regedit", and clear any **** it might be clogging up your pc. If you do have a problem you can get into regedit by typing "regedit.exe" Hope this might help somebody.
Got any advice on nail.exe I had a major problem with alsorts of rubbish which my other half downloaded with some music. this included winupdates but McCaffee internet suite sorted everything except one annoying program called nail.exe which nothing seems to get rid off, and it keeps downloading other stuff, which fortunately McCaffee can sort out, but I have to run it every day.
RE: Got any advice on nail.exe I think if you put nail.exe into google you'll find you may have a bit of a problem. I wish you well ! There are some reyt ******** out there in cyber-land.
