...if like me you think he is still Player of the Year. Don't let the Barnsley Comical tell you who you can & can't vote for.

Colgan & Mcphail would run him close

...just think someone who has played consistently for six months of the season should be eligible.

Why??? Anybody would think he was Diego Maradona and Pele rolled into one the way people go on about him on here! Granted he did well for us this season and he is a good player but he was no world beater! In my opinion McPhail/Howard is a better midfield 2 than McPhail/Burns or Howard/Burns. Howard tackles just as well, passes better and certainly carries more of a goal threat! Just for the record my player of the year would be Nick Colgan. 39 starts with 18 clean sheets says it all really!

I agree he should be, but it sort of takes the edge off it with him leaving.

Going into the play-off final with the keeper as POTY will do for me.[IMG]

not really, he doesnt play for us anymore, id rather the award went to a player who plays for us. No point in giving it to an ex player who now plays in Poland.
I think Hassell has a good chance and like DiscoDevaney said, Colgan should be right up there becasue he has been outstanding. Maybe Mcphail too.

Yeah if they want, but i can't understand why anyone would. Like i said before did a good job for us but i think others have done more.

Nick Colgan
Bobby Hassell
Stephen McPhail
Neil Austin
Antony Kay
Chris Shuker
Marc Richards

Not in any particular order that by the way.

Bobby Hassell for me

I think he's been a model of consistency and every time he's been out we've missed him.

Dont apologise

All I am saying is that those who would have voted for Burns should still do so!
