Not sure Brian should be in there

He played very well, as did all our players, but the defensive players were more impressive. Hassell and Kozluk were immense. Foster and Souza were pretty awesome too.

    Gone for Kayode.
When we get to the final we're gonna be screwed with Kayode, Luke and whoever wins the semi final vote sitting in the stands watching the game!

Absolutely - no disrespect to Miller and his achievements, but Kayode ran Terry and Carvalho, i.e. two WORLD CLASS defenders, ragged all afternoon. After all the stick he has taken this season from some sections of the crowd, KO is a worthy and deserving winner of the award.

    Let's all vote for ODJE.

Get his confidence up even more. He might be like Drogba (minus the diving/cheating) before end of the season!

    I actually thought

Howard had a bit of a shocker at times. 1st half especially, he was giving the ball away far too often.

First post so here goes - Howard has stepped up in the cup and is getting plenty of deserved media attention. Personally I think KO deserves the vote. Yes he has missed more chances than I've had hot dinners and even on Saturday he could have let fly but passed or took and extra touch, but Terry and Carvalho could not handle him all afternoon and hardly beat him in the air. His goal was well deserved for the effort he put in and the ovation as he went off should be something he should be proud of (he won't get many like that from 18K pus reds fans) so good luck to him and lets hope he wins player of the round, and is more confident as a result.

    Boo! Rubbish! Gerroff!

Agree wholeheartedly. It's a shame Howard's nominated, to be honest, as it may split our vote. And as others have said I'd have had a few others up there instead of him as far as Saturday's performance goes. But KO was the man in this round.

Oops. He's gone. Do you think I scared him off?
