Voters in NZ reject another politicians vanity project

    Just this week , the New Zealand people have voted 57 to 43 % to reject their PM's project to replace their traditional flag with a new model. Apparently it's cost $NZ 26m.
    PM John Key has overtly used every government device possible to support his plan...and failed.
    Perhaps it's a lesson Cameron should consider in the run up to our own euro referendum?

    Don't hold your breath. As governments and councils show us time and time again it's OK to waste money when you're not held up to account.
