If teams are tied after group stage :- Goal difference taken into account. Team with 'best' goal difference progresses If still tied team(s) scoring greatest number of goals progresses. If still tied disciplinary record looked at - for every yellow card one point deducted - an indirect red 3 pts deducted - direct red 4 points deducted. If still tied then lots are drawn. Bit early to be worried about drawing lots. You need to concentrate on scoring enough goals when you beat Iran. It'll be one of those weird groups where it comes down to how many we all spank Iran by. I suspect both England's remaining group games will be draws.
No we’ll win all three, I’m sure of it. As for spanking Iran it should have been at least 10-0 not a measly 6-2.
