Re: is this the guy Can't see them letting a 'highly regarded starlet' out on loan for anything other than first team football
I read in the chron online today that we have signed 3 this week for the Barnsley u21 team. We are having up to 12 u21 prospects on trial next week. Sounds like this lad is another one of them rather than a first teamer. Re: is this the guy The article doesn't mention a loan deal, it read to me like its a permanent move.
History of the 21st Century In 2015 Barnsley FC became the first ever sports club to sign a foetus when Lee Johnson, the then manager, felt the powerful kicks of his mate Bob's unborn child through the stomach wall of Bob's wife. Later that summer Barnsley FC would go on to sign a test-tube of sperm. Bob's unborn child would never go on to play for Barnsley. Veronica didn't like football much and became an architect. There are no records of what happened to the test-tube of sperm, but unconfirmed reports suggest Ben Mansford spilt it. Barnsley were relegated to the basement division of league football in May 2016.
Why are we signing a dozen youth players from other clubs? Seems an odd move. Our academy lot must not look great this time round
