Despite feeling low due to the weather and Danny's actions , I've just had a phone call from my gaffer telling me not to go into work on 12 hour nights as planned , as our steelworks is flooded and all the power has gone off !!!

I got sent home early

Due to rising water levels. Worked out quite nicely as it meant I could pick up my new car an hour or so earlier than I would have otherwise.
