Wallwork eyes return to training - how different would things have been if he hadn't been stabbed?

Don't usually like "what-ifs?" but on recent showings I couldn't help thinking how Mr Davey's record may have been different with Ronnie in the team. Didn't see him play myself but from what I heard he was a decent player who was just the type of player we needed. Experienced, ball winning midfielder with a desire to win and ample protection for the back four and Brian Howard bombing forward.

I reckon if he had not been stabbed he would have stayed with us for the rest of the season, hell he may even have kept Robbie Williams out of the side against Wednesday!

i know i know, i saw him twice and he bossed the middle of the park, would ahve been awsome, also, he could ahve done such a good job udner richie, allowing for teh wingers to get forward, for teh attacking play, whilst he disrupted any counter.

 

That must be the Southend game you are on about,

against Ipswich he looked Sunday league , he was more off the pace than McCann. </p>
