The midfielder, now at West Brom but on loan to Barnsley, was attacked in Manchester's Sugar Lounge last night. Police said a 28-year-old was repeatedly stabbed at the venue on Whitworth Street West. The man was taken to hospital with wounds to his hand, stomach and back. It is not known what type of weapon was used. He remains in a stable condition and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Detectives believe it was not a random attack and are making further enquiries to trace the offender. RE: Could've been a broken bottle? true maybe why its not life threatening but anyone could walk into a night club/bar with a knife on them. Unless bouncers search you in Manc land.
