Move on. He really isn't worth £900k yet. £500k tops. Otherwise they'll lose him for free next summer and have an unhappy player on their hands.
Of course they are probably quoting more than they want for him first we are going in with low bids to speed up the process. I'd say between £650k and £750k is what they really want for him and what they can expect to get so depends if we have/want to pay that. I'd say if we have that much then we should go for it. Has resale value good player if we get relegated a proven track record in League 1.
Kind of crazy when you see players in our league going for over £10m and we're splitting hairs over a couple of hundred K! Could be a long year
I meant that Wallsall want to speed up the process. We are making low bids so they are presumably upping the ante to make us bid something more realistic.
i think it's a bit silly, all this to-ing and fro-ing. they've said how much they want for him. either offer something near it, or move onto other targets.
A blind man on a galloping horse knows hes worth more than 3 or 400k. I reckon hes worth the same as Sam, if we really do want him then we should stop pissing around with poor valuations, stump up or move on. All this does is alerts other teams to step in. In 2 years time I reckon he will be worth much more than 500k. I cant see how he could be worth less than moncur...just saying like
Strange really we laughed off Leeds approach for Winnall we are doing exactly the same with Bradshaw.
Good competition for Sam. No idea what we've bid for him, no idea what they want. Would welcome his arrival though and hope we get it done in a financially acceptable fashion.
