I mean it, I always look forward to our games. Even when we've been on a bad run (not unknown over the years) I always look forward to the next match, as I expect the us to end it with a victory. I've usually been disappointed!:D
Interesting fact from you about Walsall being unbeaten away from home so far this season.

So do I, now that I am able to look forward to every home game. Absolutely love it when I wake up and it's MATCH DAY.

Disappointment takes the gloss off, too often, but it doesn't stop me anticipating the next one.

    There is no cure.

Used to love midweek games great atmosphere standing under the floodlights at Oakwell. These days sitting and shivering I'm less keen and more nesh. Still the blood starts to pump on match day morning

Walsall have not won a league match at Oakwell since April 1971 – a run stretching back eight games.

Hmm but look how far back Shrewsbury's lack of wins at Oakwell stretched....before this season.

We'll beat Walsall though. Need to revive the spirit of that winning run last season when our 3-0 thumping of them was part of that run.

I saw Walsall draw 1-1 at Peterborough a few weeks back - they didn't look anything special and I don't expect them to be troubling the promotion or play-off candidates come April.

    Mind you, neither will we.

Well this is what I've experienced ever since watching the reds. Lose against the bottom half win against the top teams. Except those 2 seasons we got promoted.

I've said this to our kid (strangely just before the crewe match). So he's already expecting us to win tonight.... (And there is no sign of him not wanting to go this time).

Grasping at straws but you have to at times.

Come on tarn. We can get going. Don't make my kid think I'm a bloody liar :)

    Looking forward to it.

Hope loss of Hourihane isn't too costly. Others need to step up to the plate.
    At least Winnall is rested.

I'm reasonably confident of a win tonight. Be surprised if we get 6 points from these 2 games, but isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
