The best day at walsall was under Andy Richie. Expecting a good following from the reds Saturday though and 3 points hopefully. Also I had forgot Sean o dismill is there gaffer until yesterday that will make the 3 points even sweeter.

Yep, good chance for us to get into the top 6. Hopefully be backed by a good following and continue our miraculous march up the table.

Indeed, that was a fantastic day. Sealed our playoff place. Great atmosphere.

Gonna make the short trip across from Birmingham, and looking forward to it. It'd be good to exorcise the ghosts of last season.

I think we might only get a point from it, but also that a point would be a decent result. I can't see them troubling us much up front, but I think they're tough to break down and our relative profligacy in front of goal from open play could cost us.

a point would be brilliant, but they will be confident enough to go and play for all three. then we get hammill back, for another huge game against southend

Thinking about going. Not a long distance. Should be a good game hopefully followed by three points for the away side.

I was in two minds about going, but now you've said that I'm tempted!

I think it's the only ground I've made multiple visits to, and never seen us lose.

    4-1 in 2000 and 2-1 in 2006

Thinking about it, maybe Blackpool falls into that category too but I'm not sure.

Ive done that with Anfield :)

Only been to Walsall once - the Ritchie era that secured out playoff place - cant go this Saturday either. On our current form a win is definitely possible but we are bound to lose sometime and as Walsall havent won at home this year thats a worrying sign.

Cracking day, ended up on the pitch afterwards and the Walsall fans were very gracious even though they went down I seem to remember?
