Walton has taken a painful Knock it seems

the commentary said there could be a chance to re-call Davies from the Welsh squad. Given that Davies will be most probably be 3rd choice for Wales then I hope we try for a re-call. I want Davies to get international caps and would not deny him the chance. But right now I feel there are 2 keepers in front of him for the Wales keeper

 

If we don't have Davies in our goal at the weekend it would be so badly wrong.

 

agree matey... he will at best be on the bench... and even that I doubt

 

Let’s give the kids a chance, let’s show massive faith in them that we back them to do a job.

 

Time for Jake Greatorex then if Davies is away and Walton is injured. I know big clubs were sniffing around Greatorex before he signed pro with us, so hopefully if he gets his chance he takes it. Nice to see another local lad who’s worked his way up through the academy close to the first team.

 

Whatever happens - we'll be OK. Davies recalled seems the most sensible - but if Greatorex is given a chance - I won't complain. We are lucky to have three young promising keepers

 

It would be a massive boost to his confidence. If he pulled off a debut like Steele did at Anfield he would instantly become a club hero too.
