Wanted: Site Admins

If we are going to be using this site for a bit then we probably need to appoint some site admins/moderators in case things kick off. Any one up for the job?

I’m guessing we are talking about :

Removing racist / libellous comments – anyone got any ideas for guidelines?
Helping out registered members who’ve lost their passwords etc.
Give me a shout if there any problems with the hosting or if the site goes down
What else?
Also there is a profanity filter on here but it currently doesnt contain any rude words – should we be using it?

I can see this thread going down well.
I would but I can't get on at work and  I'm off on hols for a fortnight in a few days.
If we're still here when you get back I'll consider it but modding Doom9's forums keeps me busy enough.

 

I might be able to help out on a part-time basis.

Maybe - on an evening and weekends....though off on hols next weekend for a week.

I wouldn't mind removing racist posts!

I think it's a case of

if Barnsleyfc.net comes back online for the new season will this board be needed?

Personally I think the longer the other board is down, the harder it will be to re-establish it.

 

Why would we need .net back now?

If we can port over Laura's story and Steve's Dear Diary.....what are we missing?

this site is better, with more functionality etc etc and with NO baggage

Some kind of a profanity filter might be a good idea since we don't want to upset the Big Lils. (NOOO) This time we don't want to upset all the Scunthorpe fans on the board either though... (copper)
