to lose. I've never understood the mentality in that. A win puts us in a better place, brings teams closer to us and may kick start our season again.A defeat might boost a few ego's on here but what else would it achieve. I would much rather the team go on a decent unbeaten run than go on hoping we lose.
Personally, I don't want my team to lose. I just think it is inevitable with the current Head Coach and the tactics, formations and decisions he is making.
I'm split, we've as supporters got what we all craved for as far as stability, long term plan, playing youth etc On the flip side, are we entertained? Sometimes it's cruel to be kind! Other times you've just got to ride out the storm. But is it nice waiting to be drowned? Or will you tread water for a little bit longer and then the ship arrives and we stay afloat? Fook me I've gone all pretentious student!
Problem is many of us wanted that with the last manager who was deemed to be underperforming, LJ is sub-performing but still here despite not picking up a point since September.
I would never want us to lose. Ever. However, when we went 2-0 down last weekend both me and Roy did discuss for about 30 seconds the merits of us losing by 5 or 6, in order for change to come about. So we're cnuts basically.
