Waring In - Time For The 'Dead Wood' Out?

Surely this is a (justified) vote of no confidence in Lita and Hemmings? If so, we may as well cut our losses and get shut. Given that Digby hasn't made the grade, we may as well move him on too and get someone of his age/size/shape that can actually do the things midfielders are supposed to do. Cranie would be no loss either, so perhaps we can get Big Jean involved? If not, he will need to be shipped out too.

A big, able midfielder and centre back could give a much better look to our team.

 

Agree, time to get rid of the Dead Wood but it could form a rather large pile.

We need fresh hope and impetus

 

I wouldn't mind seeing the backs of Lita, Brown, Treacy and Bailey tbh. Hemmings is still only 22 with a lot to learn and he'll have to fight for his place from now on so will hopefully buck his ideas up. Big Jean I believe is still a decent squad player.

 

Lita, Brown, Hemmings, Tracey & M'Voto can all leave for me.
They're all out of contract this summer anyway and I doubt DW plans to extend any of their deals.

 

Lita - Hasn't scored the goals we were expecting, but has played his part and is the only experience we have up front.

Hemmings - Has struggled with the step up from Scottish football, but has still chipped in with a few goals and showed glimpses. Could definately do with a loan somewhere to find his feet in England and get some confidence. Writing him off already goes against everything Danny and the board are trying to do.

M'Voto - Why move him on just because he isn't involved? Ramage and Nyatanga have been brilliant, but if they lose form or get injured I can think of much worse players to come in then M'Voto.

Treacy - Definately has ability, but attitude is awful and he can go if anyone will take him. I'd be shocked if he didn't leave at the end of the season.

Brown - C ya!

 

Plenty of money us to keep gerrin rid of the dead wood. Should have its own place ont balance sheet. Cost of bonfire sale.
