Well

very interested to see the team selection. Assuming Devaney plays right, Howard and Togwell in the middle (both with summat to prove), guessing R Williams will get a run, unless Hayes right and Nads and Coulson up front. It may be another combination, but with so many 'none availables' I hope the team talk is around places up for grabs. Lets see what the 'squad' can do.

I fully expect us to whip Southend with some free-flowing footy.

Afterall the players have been seen to be capabel of doing that , and bow that they have a decent coach I dont see any difficulty in returning to that style.

what with our settled side, perfect footballing conditions, whats at stake and our recent form. No problem.

 

Ironic

That we'll revert back to Ritchie's team tonight, + some of the squad players. If we win and/or play well, wonder if Davey will revert back to the new blood next Saturday.

 

The team thats playing tonight managed it for the 1st 10 games of the season.

Surely the best way out of this mess is for the manager to go out and tell them to play, forget all the negative stuff , tell them they have done it before so do it again.</p>

Result is most important

given whats at stake for getting through, Im not so sure the team will be given an open remit, Southend have come into a bit of form, I think it'll be a tight game and I just hope we nick it.

 

If we base our remaining games on hope then are we not screwed.

We should go out to play our game.</p>

The team I expect us to play as already shown it cant defend very well and likes to go forwards , therefore I would let the players play.</p>

 

Southend seem to have taken the opposite tack to all around

them and gone for stability even though they were adrift at the bottom of the league and have just made a couple of additions to the squad. Interesting to see how it all pans out for the rest of the season.</p>
