    they'd spoken to our CEO and reported that there would be a new striker in, definitely, this week?
    You know.... watch this space, read my lips, keep the faith, he's all lined up etc etc.
    Or did I imagine it.

    The lack of movement is a bit frustrating, we clearly need to freshen the attacking options up.

    I suppose one good thing is that the transfer deadline closes in a couple of weeks, if we don't have anything sorted before deadline day then it will be time to panic.

    The transfer market is incredibly frustrating, you should be used to it by now. I look forwards to the window closing.

    I think Mr Flitcroft has actually said....

    that they had been talking to the agents and have had some positive discussions , This Week.

    I think it's after that we will see someone come in. The loan window is open a but longer and clubs who haven't been able to offload will make players available for loan.
