I didnt go yesterday and avoided this board last night.

But was it a good decision to play Steele and not Alnwick? Read that Steele made some good saves?

I'd so say. Alnwick should have saved at least two of the Forest goals if not three. Deserved to be dropped after that performance. Steel's a far better shot stopper.

    Yes.
He made some quality saves by the sounds of it, and I feel a lot more confident with him in goal.
But ask Hemsworth, and he'll disagree.

He could and should have done better with the goal but that goes for all the defence. Other than that he played well. Make some very good saves and breeds more confidence through the team than Alnwick, who I just don't think is good enough at this level.

Steele played well and kept the score down. With Alnwick in his Forest form that could have been a 4 bullet.

Deflection on the goal u think, hit across the, hardly a mistake. Think Stones is due a rest, simple clearance but gave ball straight back to there guy who scored.

I've always thought that Steel is the better keeper.

Like may others, i just feel safer with his name on the squad sheet

Whilst Alnwick was in the team, and Steele was fit and sitting on the bench, supporters would suspect the better keeper was being kept out of the team for reasons other than form and quality. Therefore, it was right that Steele be brought back, even if we had conceded four and they were all his fault. Like the law, team selection has to be seen to be correct by the jury.
