Was McPhail the best player in the football league??

    I really would value your honest opinions on this one. Was he irreplaceable or do you think that out midfield is better without him.

    In my opinion we are no worse off for him going and i thought that his arrogant comments about his former team mates were a disgrace and he deserved the reception that we gave him on the opening day.

    I ask this because my family keep insisting and i quote "McPhail is the best player in the football league by far"

    I would appreciate some honest feedback on this!

    simple...................better without him, dont get me wrong he is a good player...but not great and we are a better team without him......best player in the football league??????? there are plenty better than him....more than plenty

    I agree mate, i always thought that Brian Howard was a better player.

    last season he was very good.

    but that was league 1, i believe he was the best midfielder in league 1 last season...

    maybe the best player...
