...a flash in the pan? Sorry to say that it's certainly beginning to look that way. The two very worrying factors are that we are struggling to score AND we are now leaking goals alarmingly like last season. Next weekend is looking very crucial to our prospects this season. A minimum of four points required then I reckon to keep us out of the relegation mire. If we fail to get a win from the two home games we could be in trouble very quickly.
Two away defeats... ...don't make a crisis though. Like you say, the next games, at home, are crucial.
Our results this season - at least those I've seen - have been part good football, part heroic defending, and a lot of luck. With the exception of Bristol City, we could easily have lost some of the games we came away with points - most notably Burnley and Southampton.
RE: Two away defeats... It's the manner of the defeats that makes me fear the worst though. Sloppy defending and toothless in attack is not a combination that inspires.
its not just 2 away defats though its a total collapse of the team! Nothing beng created and a teabag for a defence. If we were losing games because we were being outplayed then fair enough but it seems we have just lost the plot.
Nothing created? More corners than leicester and more shots on target.. 4 Shots On Target 6 5 Shots Off Target 3 12 Fouls (Conceded) 14 3 Corners 4 2 Yellow Cards 2 0 Red Cards 0 Powderpuff attack.
