    Said to him, they got a good point at Boro'. He told me JCR did not want to be at Barnsley, and he (Brian Howard ) wanted to play next to Brian Stock at Doncasterl.

    JCR came out in the press and said he contemplated leaving.

    Until Davey reassured him and the contract was sorted etc, say's he's fully commited to the club now though.

    Told me, that he hated it at Sheff Utd.

    I said to him, you should've stayed at Barnsley, youd've been a legend. He said, i know. Asked him about him and Brian Stock being from Winchester, and he said 'fingers crossed'...

    If Hammill and Hallfredsson do sign this week, we'll certainly have options available to us in the wide positions, with JCR & Devaney as well.

    I'm the most unassertive person you could meet - ask any friend, however, why make stir mongering posts like that. designed to cause unrest amongst fans.
    We should all be united for the cause, not arguing about silly posts from Poet and don't get me going on his footnote!

    Ballcocks - Main and only thing wrong with JCR at the moment.....

    Is that he has not had much of a break what with Jamaican international duty over the summer (right up to mid-July). He's also missed much of pre-season.

    Jamaica have another game in Ecuador at 2am on Thursday morning so I can't see him being in great shape for the Cov game either if he has to go there.

    However, if we sign Hammill and Halfredsson I can see him getting a bit of a rotation and he'll be back to his best in no time.

    Spoke briefly to O'neil Thompson after Man City and he said JCR sold the club to him, loves it here.
