We scored the second goal..........and then, it seems we just packed up and left them to it

I would say it was a boring match.........tuthers I've spoken to say we purposely killed the match after we scored

    What do you think ?

I was a little disapointed how we gave possesion away all too easy. 2-0 up on a hot day, we should've kept the ball better and made them work harder. They had plenty of the ball without ever looking like they were going to hurt us (Steele save apart) I just kept thinking if they get one back squeaka bum time. Having said that, it is being ultra critical, the lads worked hard and deserved all the plaudits they get.
    Well done

Remember in the Premiership Promotion season we played Man City at Christmas and went 2-0 up. We killed that game in a very professional manner too. Truth be told, it was a 2-0 thrashing! I approved of that, and let's face it, how many times in the year's since have we conceded in these situations and had a nervous finale, often losing two or more points. So I approve!

Anyone critiscising that performance today is clearly looking for negatives. It wasn't the best we've ever played, but it didn't need to be.

    Comfortable two nil win

In patches we play some good football, score a very good team goal. The shape and work rate of the team is so refreshing far from a boring game more of the same in my opinion.

Hill certainly wasn't happy with how much we gave the ball away in the last 10 minutes - he was going ballistic, and I was pleased to see that.

80+ degress on the pitch, 2-0 up and playing the best football weve seen in years. So we take our foot off the gas for the last 10mins. Not sure we can ask for much more.

Excellent performance, some very good individual contributions amonst a very strong and competent display

More of the same for me

The heat may have played a part, but although we did drop off we were still looking to break so we didn't stop totally. 61% possession today, I wonder what it was at 75 mins?

According to the BBC it was 69% midway through the second half. Would that sound about right? If so that's incredible, they must have hardly had a kick for long periods.

Coventry were having to chase the game in the heat....just make them do it....thought it was a thoroughly professional approach and you can't always dictate a game no matter how much you want to.
