2 adults and 1 child £23:60 just to get in a further £17 at Burger King plus £20 for Pop, Sweets and the 3d glasses.

A day session on the ale would have been cheaper

Eat before you go, take your own sweets/drinks, knocks at least 50% off the total. Thats the way we always did it as a family. That way we were able to go fairly regularly.

I think the comparison was against football, and for the about the same length of time of entertainment, its a lot cheaper . . . .

    It is a rip off

When I go with r lass, I take a bottle of pop from Jack Fultons (3 for £1), she takes a bottle of water and some chocolate or sumat, and we go wednesdays to make use of the 'Orange Wednesdays' promotion, if we go for a meal or sumat it might cost us £30, and even then, it's still a decent chunk out of my weekly wage at the moment.

Re: It is a rip off

It's a bit unfair to include your meal at BK in the cost.

The comparison is 2 adults and a child to get in = £23.60 versus 2 adults and a child in Oakwell which would be over £50.
