Yes........the police have got to do something about the railway barriers

It causes havoc when those barriers come down at 17:10 during match days
And it caused problems for the police and fans yesterday
It stopped Barnsley fans getting into town and then home
While stood at the barriers some TARN fans spotted 8 Cardiff fan and surrounded them and the police waded in with battons
    Could have been nasty
Other than that I didn't see anything
But there were a lot of TARN fans milling around before and after the game looking for an opportunity

so when you say "waded in with batons"

are you saying they had batons on them or that they hit people?

    i know its complex

but some kind of bridge might be in order. and not the one that takes you into a building site. other than that not much else can be done.

    RE: i know its complex

Years ago there used to be an old wooden crossing bridge on the CEAG side.

Used to stand on it as a kid and watch the train go through beneath.

    because a bridge would work

you can not cancel trains for half an hour its not really possible. They coming from sheffield and leeds and somee going beyond. they have to then be used for other services once they get to the destination. Trains are bad enough would cause havoc.

got to live with it im afraid, still though a nice decent sized bridge would certainly help. i know there would still be a bottle neck but at least it would keep things moving a little
