Yes! Mellis didn't touch the opposition player and played the ball, but the one on Hunt nearly broke his leg and was nowhere near the ball. That and Mellis was sent off and banned for three matches, while the player who crocked Hunt (the other Hunt I believe) wasn't even spoken to. Hunt had to leave the field injured, hobbled around for a bit when he came back on, but had to be subbed, while the Wednesday player just had to stop pretending. We'll have to wait and see the extent of Hunt's injury and if he misses any more games. Mellis' challenge was much more spectacular, but the one on Hunt is the kind of tackle that destroys careers. We lost the first game after a goal in the 97th minute and conceded two in the last 6 minutes of the second. So justice was done all round. But these things even themselves out over a season, every pundit says so. Like **** they do. There's something fundamentally wrong with the laws of the game. Or the interpretation of them at any rate. One day I'll let this go.
