I remember a young player from Manchester United (clean mouth out with soap and water) being given a life ban for assaulting a ref when they were on loan to a club in Holland or Belgium years ago. Obviously the ban must havve been overturned but anyone know if it was Wallwork?

    From Wikipedia

During a loan spell at R. Antwerp F.C., Wallwork was banned from football for life after an alleged attack on a referee. Another Manchester United Loanee, Danny Higginbotham, was banned for a year for his part in the attack. A Belgian court reduced Wallwork's sentence to a three year suspension, of which two years were probational. Higginbotham's ban was reduced to four months.

I've just had another idea then

We should create a sort of "Mean Machine" team with personnel who have been given extreme bans or served prison sentences or at least been in lots of trouble. Who could we have?
