    Brilliant film. The cover doesn't do it justice with its emphasis on bloodshed, if anything there's less violence than you'd expect in a (sort of)asian film about Genghis Khan. It follows Temudjin from choosing his wife at eight-years-old to his defeat of his only remaining rival, his blood-brotherJamukha, and consolidation of all the Mongol forces. The staggering events that followed would make a great sequel and Bodrov is rumoured to be consdering this so fingers crossed.</p>
