Looked like we defended like the bad old days.

I think Nardiello got lucky on his run into the box , in that the ball came off at least 2 Leeds players before it dropped to Howard.

hihihihi...how are ya Andy, seriously you missed a good game mate...we were woeful last 15 - 20 mins of first half, okay first 20 - 25 mins...BUT... second half we played them off the park, I still cannot see why Tommy Wright calls himself a footballer though.McIndoe was superb, Howard too.Nardiello had a good game when he got on.If Heckinbottom had 2 yards more pace he could be good ..but he did do well.Overall a good day ...but if only we could get that 15 - 20 minutes siesta time out of our game we would have no worries at all.

Aye, he did get lucky, but he he got lucky in their box, taking their defenders on, trying to make it happen.

Didn't Lewis "get lucky" for Leeds' second?

To my eyes, Blake's goal and Howard's goal had a lot in common.

Are you saying their second was bad defending and ours was lucky?

Having said that, Derry's goal from the corner was a horror show. Tommy Wright lost him completely.

Somewhat miffed as I had booked the day off work ,

however I forgot as I made the booking in June. When we went 2-1 down it wasnt an issue but when we won I was gutted that I missed it.

Going to the Crystal Palace game on the 17th , and depending how I feel I might go to Brum Satdy , but it might be a bit dangerous.

Do you mean the goal from the corner?

Were they the ones stood on the line?

    Leeds 2nd goal,

Ball from Healey into the vacant right back slot.

Lewis then stumbles around Devaney , passes to Blake who cracks it in the bottom corner.

    That goal.

    RE: Leeds 2nd goal,

The corner was bad, but I wouldn't blame Devaney for the fact that Lewis got past him.

It's pretty hard to stop your opponent every time (especially with a one-on-one inside the area). As Spartacus points out, there was also a decent handball shout that went against us.

Not a decent shout, a blatant handball

though the ball struck Nardiello's raised hand in the build up to Howards goal so it was even in the end.

You make your own luck, he got the ball, took men on, got into the box, three of theirs went to him cos they knew what was coming and yes the ball bobbled off one of theirs but fell to Howard who had a bit of space cos three players were otherwise engaged, now look at my first three statements, how many times this season have you been able to say that about any other player, thats what he does, he dunt charge all over the place, he dunt defend but when he gets the ball the first thing he thinks about will be something positive. He deserves a start and if its not happening for him after 70 mins then sub him,but give him a chance.

clearly hit his arm and he gained an advantage.

Pundits spotted it on TV too. Think our players appealled at the time.

Yeah, Lewis stumbled a bit and the ball shot up (off Devaney) and hit him on the top of the arm / shoulder.
