Watched the own goal again

and it backs up what we say at games every bloody week.

If the defender can clear it then he should, why play it back for the goalie to hoof when the defender could do just the same.

 

That reminded me of the Mogs backpass that went past Miller.Lovely touch into the bottom corner.

 

If you mean the one against QPR it wor never a goal in this wide world.

god, it's a simple thing....

...was always told if you have to pass it back to the keeper, make sure you don't aim between the posts!!!

pass it back to the side, slightly. worst then is a corner!!!

although international class players should be able to cope with a little bobbl.....doh!!

I seem to have this debate nearly every home game.

 

Well me and my mate - we don't have the deabte we just comment on why a defender can't clear it but instead puts goalie under pressure!
