Are you just on holiday there or do you live there? Just wondering as I'm going to Rome soon and I'd love it if I was able to stream the match whilst I was there but not sure if you need an account that was set up outside the UK or if just travelling counts.

 

It is a different account type. Ours costs about £40 theirs costs about £100 I think.

I'm in Cristianos wen to a bar to watch the scores come in and the owner said he'd pay it but would be the same for every club.

I'm on holiday, I have ifollow & opened it up to listen to commentary & there was a tab saying watch match, I pressed that & it came on.
Was delighted, but it quickly turned to despair!!
Lot of work for Hecky to do.

 

That's interesting, I wonder if the cheaper ifollow for commentary would show the match if a VPN was used? Anyone tried it?

 

Me and my missus go to Costa Adele. It's a nice place. We stay at the Hotel Gran.
Tell you where's a nice little place to visit La Caleta. Fantastic Italian restaurant Rosso Sul Mare
on the harbour front. Taxi from Adeje around 10€. Well worth a visit.

 

Come here 2 or 3 times a year, great place, stayed in the Adeje gran a few times, been all over the place & can agree with La Caleta, off to safari for a gin or too at Harry's bar.
Staying at the Hard Rock hotel in Sept, have u been there?

 

I haven't Archie. Probably one for the future.? We've stayed at the Gran four times. We use the rooftop pool
it's a nice sun trap. We were a bit disappointed with the food last time we were there. They'd altered the restaurant
and it was a bit chaotic. Also the evening's entertainment wasn't as good as we'd enjoyed on our first three visits.

At the thick end of £2.5k a throw we expected better. We also had 10 days at the Guyarmina Princess in Adeje with
Thomson. With the terrorist attacks in places like Turkey a lot of people who holidayed there are now drawn to
Tenerife. Last time we were at the Gran we saw many Brits who were obviously on all inclusive, absolutely legless
at around 7pm which was a bit disappointing especially as some of their behaviour left a lot to be desired.

Don't know whether you've done any of the day trips available. We did Mount Tiede at night ( froze my nadgers off)
and a days coach trip around the Island. They were well worth the brass.

 

Stayed at the gran last September & was disappointed hence booking hard rock for this year.
Stayed at princess also!
All inclusive is killing it, restaurants & bars struggling to survive, best bit o my holiday is finding a good restaurant & bar can't beat it!

 

We're in Protaras, self catering until 18th August. Priced out of a holiday in the Balaerics believe it or not. Saturated with all inclusive packages. We're not the biggest of drinkers so all inclusive not an advantage or attraction to us, and like you, love to find a few good little independent tavernas, restaurants etc. We've always enjoyed the food and drink in Majorca and Menorca, and spoilt for choice here. Great way to meet other folk too. Downside at moment is we have a Bristol C fan next door, and worse, a Leeds fan below us!!
