The Liverpool match was live on television here - but I had no chance of watching it as I was spending the weekend in a cabin up in the mountains (and believe me, I tried to re-arrange that plan). So after a LOT of thought, I decided to record the match, and then stay away from televison, radio and newspapers from 3 o´clock Saturday. I also asked everyone I know who are into football NOT to text me during and after the match. Saturday afternoon was a nightmare, I had one look at my telephone before going to bed - and it didn´t get better after that - 12 new messages... So when I sat down in front of the televison last night, I had a feeling that we´d either lost something like 8-0 - or had performed a little miracle. It definetly felt like the first after they scored, but what a second half that was! A fantastic result and a result that shows how far the club has progressed over the last couple of years. Sometimes it is great to be a Barnsley fan!
Its always great to be a Barnsley fan because win lose or draw we love the club and what it stands for. Honest true grit!
DazTyke I think you should have a read of the posts in the couple of weeks leading up to this game and see if you really believe that.
