Don’t think I’ve ever seen a set of officials give so many incorrect and one sided decisions in such a short period of time. Must have a bet on the Baggies.
100 minutes of football and Forest couldn't force a corner. WBA had a legit winner chalked off at the end. The ball all over the line and offside given when he was stood next to the defender both on the goal line.
I think the offside rule states that 2 players must be behind the striker, one of which is usually the goalkeeper . Correct me if I'm wrong
Yes everybody knows this. However, the lad on the line wasn’t interfering with play at all. The ball hit him whilst he was behind the line, wasn’t in the defenders or keepers way so I’m puzzled as to why they thought the correct decision was to give offside.
