Watching training...

    ...Got the day off work today and was thinking of going down to watch the lads train for a while.

    I've not done that for about ten years - where can you stand? Last time I went you could pretty much stand at the side of the training pitch on the inside of the fence, is that still the case?

    Security is a bit tighter then I take it?

    Might have a look anyway, need to go into Barnsley anyway so might have stroll over to kill a bit of time.

    It's funny how things change. Back in 98 I was about 16, me and a few mates used to go down, watch training, walk straight into the ground without anyone saying a word and chill out in the stands for a bit...no one was bothered at all, it made the club feel really friendly and accessable.

    Then again this was also in the days where if you were on a plane, you could ask to go for a look in the cockpit and they would let you!

    How times have changed.
