Why not? - because no matter how well they are doing it is difficult to view a bunch of italian kids on a feeder exchange and identify with them as "Watford Football Club". None of them will be there next season and half of them in all liklihood are there because they were told to go there, not because they want to be there. If that is what is in store for Barnsley then I want no part of it.

Totally agree. That's not the club I support. My opinion is even if we go down, keep Keith, I believe in what he is trying to achieve.

It reminds me of the way Donny did things last season which ultimately didn't work. Things may look reasonably ok for Watford at the minute but I wouldn't be surprised if the wheels come off. It's not a path I'd want Barnsley to take.

You've all missed the main issue here.

It's common knowledge that all teams who play in yellow are Scientologists.
I won't be standing for any of that **** at my club.

Changing a manager, investment into the club, signing a load of Italian players doesn't guarantee we'll stay up. I think what Chef Tyke means is that on the resources available there would be no benefit from sacking Keith Hill, and if we go down, he'd still probably be the best man to bring us back up. Hardly makes him a ****.

What made me chuckle reading that was the guy making a sarcastic comment about the number of threads about attendances, 3 IN 3 MONTHS, he'd combust if he was on this board.
