I thought it was a strange appointment in the first place. Although, it is Watford I suppose and they love a managerial story.
I did my stint for 6 weeks some time late 2017, not worth the hassle. Hadn't even got around to unpacking my potato masher.
Rumours are they’ve approached Poya and offered us their best XI players plus their West stand and £18 million to find a new manager. We didn’t accept it as there was no resale value and Conway wanted to make sure the players offered were on his computer and under 11 years old. Another key attribute was the players had to be able to ball watch and be weak as piss.
Wow. I thought he'd been there long enough lol... Watford go through managers like I go through pairs of socks....
Tbf we're not looking much better. Schopp lasted 16 games, and Poya is already coming under pressure after just 8 games, with a 0% win ratio in the league
Most cases the employee will have been picked because he has been successful at some point . It’s not the managers fault if the owners pull the plug early on his term .
If Schopp went after 16 games with only 2 wins, will Poya be gone in 8 games time if we don’t win any of those? If that’s the case, he bloody needs to.
