Read your post about atmosphere at Oakwell during work today.

Can i just say thank the heavens that somebody out there is talking sense, agree with you 110%.I've been saying same for months if not years

Its a total f*ckin embarassment our home games,i would pi55 myself if i was an away fan visiting a top 6 side and the atmosphere was like a wake!

Honestly pal if we had 7'000 more like you we could make a difference to teams performance i'm convinced. All this sh*t about "they should entertain us" "if they played well we'd sing" ****** ****** AND ****** to anyone who says that.

We get what 5th highest average attendance in league, our ground should be rocking at a minute to three, is it though? is it ******.

If i stood up and started singing where i sit,all old gimmers behind me would be like "sit darn you bloody hooligan" i don't know what to suggest, the people of Barnsley aren't mad for it enough i think, too many old folk and kids in East Stand, not enough lads to get it going.

I'm so envious of clubs where thay have singing sections and good vocal support, why can't our club be same

Question to public of Barnsley - How much do you want it?

Coz if you wanted it as much as me, Oakwell would be deafening.

Gangways 7/8 should designated a 'Singing section' next season, that way all folk like me and you can get a season ticket in there and stand up and sing for the boys week in week out

i think the club should do away with designated seats in the ponty and allow folk to sit where they want, like it used to be before we got promotrd to the prem.i think this would help the atmosphere improve.</p>

i always laughed when i have seen other teams say they should have a singing section but i actually do agree it could be an idea!

i don't mind the atmosphere going down when we're playing ***** because that is understandable but i cannot understand why at the start of matches it is dead!

i remember against Norwhich when we got relegated the atmosphere was dead from the start in the biggest game of our season it was like we expected to lose instead of getting behind the team!

the best days were before the prem league when you got your true supporters that would go home and away and sing there arses off no matter what!

best i've seen it this season was actually huddersfield, and there fans were the best i'd seen too, and the rotherham fans!
