Once he's fully settled he's going to be a tremendous asset at this level in my opinion. Really liked what I saw of him in the three games I watched when I was over in August. Great touch and awareness, and he's only going to get better as he gets used to this league and his teammates.

I'm glad to see he appears to be coming good!

I've slated him this season but I slated Glavin when he first joined us and look what happened there!

To be fair John the assist was a complete misskick. He played OK though

I like Watkins, I remember giving him a good review in the first match I saw him play for us (Scunny away maybe? my memory is shocking) and I've liked him ever since. Some people seemed to not think much of him at first though.

That's ur problem. You're too quick to slate players and manager on a fairly regular basis without giving them time

POTY so far for me. Could rival Hourihane for assists this season without even taking any set pieces.

Growing in stature and confidence every game. He's another one who people were quick to slag off without giving him time to develop.
Never stops working. Heart on the sleeve type. Pace. An eye for goal and assists. Hungry and determined.
Let's hope he doesn't have a bad game or the plaudits might turn into something a bit more negative.

Reminds me of a more technically gifted version of JOB. His work rate is outstanding

Rated him from the off. A lad I knew nowt about. I expected him to be some skinny, quick winger. He's more of a unit than that and has impressed me in pretty much every game I've seen. Even at Rochdale on an awful afternoon he was probably the least ****. :)

    Good ol Bob.

He assisted both goals today. Liked him even before he signed at ICT and like everything he has done so far. Involved in most of our goals so far this season.
