Chelsea youngster Steve Watt has completed his switch to Swansea City.

The 20-year-old will travel to South Wales to set the seal on an 18-month contract as Kenny Jackett's rebuilding programme continues apace.

"Everything has been agreed between the two clubs and we've agreed personal terms with the player," Swans chairman Huw Jenkins told the club's official website.

Manager Jackett added: "Steve is a quality player. He is strong in the air and in the tackle. In fact, his all-round game is very good.

"I am delighted to add him to my squad. He is a quality acquisition."

The Scotland Under-21 stopper joins fellow new boys Tom Williams and Leon Knight at The Liberty Stadium, as Jackett looks to build a squad capable of sustaining its assault on the League One championship.
