    Very strong speculation, that Derby County could be about to appoint Wayne Rooney as the
    Clubs new player/coach. That would be a good move for them, especially because of the numerous
    contacts he has in the game.

    He's only going as a coach if so, not manager. Could be a decent punt. Not keen on him myself like but has a lot of experience.

    Correct, so it's most likely Rooney's debut will be against us with massive media attention.

    Just a shame it's at Pride Park, not Oakwell.

    That's right. Been announced that initially, its an 18 month deal. Be very interesting to see
    where he plays for them and what he decides to do when he quits playing.

    He's made no secret of the fact that at some point in the future, he wants to be the Manager of
    a Club.
