We all knew what to expect when we won promotion. We all knew that the championship would be no walk in the park. We all knew that we would get a few hammerings.

What i and a lot more fans have seen is a side, who have guts, are entertaining, and what they lack in skill ,certainly make up for it with passion, the will to go forward and try and win matches playing football.
O K 18 goals conceeded is pretty poor, but you can't knock them for entertainment.
The thing is if Richie brings some loan defenders in, they will probably be lacking match fitness and trying to ajust to a new team will take time. Quality not quantity is whats needed and i am afraid picking up quality players will be very difficult for a team like Barnsley. Richie knows this thats why, and imho Richie will stick to the defence that we have. If he can't stop the goals leeking in, then we will have to hope that the forwards will get us out of the shi*. It's going to be a long and hard season , anyone thinking that we will survive easily are living in cloudcucoo-land.
