    Are you Davey in disguise?????

He said that but would Hume have got 25 goals this season???

1 man does not make a fantastic team, Owen is a preditor as is Vaduka and Martins and look at Newcastle this season. We are lacking in a leader and tactician. Getting a goal and defending the rest of the game is wat costs us!! We should be doing to teams from the start like we did to Donny when we went down to 10 men!! get into them and go for goals. Every game we need to be 2 up with 5 mins to go,

THATS WATS TO BLAME......STUPID DIAMOND FORMATION!!! DIDNT WORK FOR EL TEL WONT WORK FOR DAVEY AS PROVED!!!!

He wasn't exactly setting the league on fire when he got injured

I very much doubt that having him up front would have made much difference.

Iain Hume getting injured has turned him into the new Ronnie Wallwork. ie people suddenly believe he was a lot better than he actually was just because he suffered a terrible injury.

    Agree with the last sentence.

He would have probably got about 10, at least. He could just score a goal out of nothing with his long range attempts. Something nobody else in our whole squad seems to do.

Even though I agree with the last bit, I do think we'd have a been a few places better off with him in the team.

He'd scored 4 in 16 games in a team that had lost it's first 6 anyway and was doing a bit more. He'd also set up quite a few from free kicks/corners.

I'm not saying we'd have been safe but it's a fair bet to say we'd have scored a few more goals than we have. I think he'd have at least been in double figures by now.

I think the Hume incident has plagued us all season, I think he would have scored 10-15, but I think more the injustice/unlucky stigma thats hung over us since, it's like every match preview mentions "Iain Hume remains on the sidelines", you don't know how its affected the players either

Sammy Clingan from Norwich if we stay up....

he has shown himself to be a class act in the latter part of the season. The sort of leadership, control and passing ability we need to get hold up midfield. Did not show fully last night, but has the qualities we need and speaks English (in an Irish accent).

I'd take him and Lee Croft.

Without a shadow of a doubt.

RE: I'd take him and Lee Croft.

I think that Lee Croft is not quite the player he once was. I have seen Norwich two or three times this season when friend's season ticket has been available and I think that he is carrying an injury. One of his main assets was his pace over ten yards and that seems to have deserted him. I could be wrong and it could be that the close-season will sort him out. Otsemobor has had to be used to overlap and give the pace down the right.

Bet they wish a) they had given Darren Huckerby a short-term contract as he wanted when he came back from USA and b) that they hadn't loaned us Jamie Cureton - 8 games and 2 goals, worth four points!!!!

Looked quality when on loan at Chesterfield ages ago.
