    With all due respect Owen, It has been proved that the manager is not right for the club or the fans, i am absolutely astounded that we as fans should take the dross what we have been served up as customers.I was there with you in admin, shaking buckets , organising raffles etc, but not to see a chairman who has gone back on his word by no longer wanting the club to be ambitious, after all did he not waste any time in getting rid of Ritchie because he did not show ambition,well neither does davey.

    where has Patrick ever said the club has no ambition....NEVER to my knowledge. He has stated on radio sheffield that davey has to justfy himself and explain why he failed to achieve the targets, listen to the interview on the bbc website. We should not have to suffer some of the performances we witnessed this year, that is why PC has stated that SD has to account for the performances to the fans.

    As someone who was their rattling bickets etc in the admin, you know as well as me, that Barnsley FC is more than the manager. Love him or loathe him, supporters will be there long after he has gone. What is not needed is supporters to walk away because of one man, this could jepodise the future of the football club, I want Barnsley to be around for my kids to watch and for them to take thei kids to watch the reds (and my son is only 13 days old so that will be a long time coming). I do not want him to be stuck with the Nottingham teams, but to follow the super reds, I want Barnsley to be there for him, part of his life as it is ours.

    That is why I would urge everyone to renew, not for the manager, but for the future of the club.
