I enjoyed it today (except the result) I thought it was the best football I've seen us play this season. The way Harris ripped his fullback apart time after time was a joy to see.If perhaps we'd had two up we could have had a bagful before half time just from Harris's crosses.

Well thats about how i saw it. First away game for me this season, and the result could have been better of course it could against a local team (probably why there is so much uproar).
If we had won with the 3 sub changes, it would have been such a different story! but we should have not needed to do it, had we been up 2 or 3 nil in the first half.

Hopefully we can keep this as a positive thread, far too many negative threads.

A lot of the time Harris has poor end product, for example his crosses/shots seem way below standard considering how easily he'll get past someone but then I suppose if his final product was up to standard he would not be playing league 1 with us.

I thought he was arguably our best player today, he had the beating of their fullback every time.

There is no point in posting such as you have.

The result, according to the heavy posters on here, is all that matters.

The only point to this board tends to be to post "*****" (= we lost) or "Brazil" (= we won).

No need for a board. Just post the result.

Oh hang on - there's scope for arguing over who the next mangagerial failure should be.

Talking about performance is irrelevant. Only one statistic counts.Nowt else worth bothering with.

I like Harris his final decision making and action is usually terrible though.

This. Was brilliant right up until the point he tried to put a ball/shot in. He'd be some player if his end ball wasn't utterly hopeless, but there's nothing to say that won't improve over time.

if he could beat a man regularly like he could today AND his final ball wasnt then hopeless, then he wouldnt be at Barnsley!

Football is a results based business.

Lose too many over a regular basis and the rest is history

Learn by your mistakes and improvements will be forthcoming.

Early days for Lee Jay in the Grand Scheme of things.

Aye, so long as those two strikers were over 20 feet tall. The lad was a joy to behold when running at his full back, pace to burn, but his end product is about as bad as I've ever seen at any level.

It's obviously why he's here, and not in Cardiff's side.

several of the first half crosses defenders just got touches on...they weren't 20 feet tall.

I take it you were sat in the home end seeing as you know how good the crosses were while stating anyone in the away end couldn't possibly say they were poor.

He didn't put one cross within a yard of our players, nor did Wabara or Watkins.

Harris' performance whilst running at the defenders was worth the admission for me, he had his man on toast. I'd give him man of the match. But his end product was missing, and in the main, was quite laughable.

I was in the away end but I was watching through binoculars genuinely...no joke), so I did see them come of heads on a couple of occasions.
