    Its all down to money, theve got a chairman who has bought the success they have had.........Walker bought Blackburn the league title.....its not a new concept.......they were not the first, wont be the last......better get used to it, it's what Football is all about at the moment.........and to think there was so much hate re Leicester on here a few weeks ago.........just the same for other 4th....sorry 2nd Division teams

    The wayi would look at this is....

    Fleetwood have progressed, been run very well and deserve their success - but can they sustain this?

    Barnsley have been run and managed, probably as bad as ive known in 30+ years and deserve relegation - we should be looking to promotion.

    Conclusion being that you will always get extremities in each league, but i would rather say well done to Fleetwood for actually pushing their status to a higher level.

    Do you reckon Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool fans etc are embarrassed at being in the same league as Hull City, who were playing at the bottom of Division 4 not that long ago in front of about 4000? (Rough figures there granted!)

    Might get worse, did you read the Chronicle today, the guy who owns Aquaforce wants to do a Fleetwood, Barnsley could end up being the second team in Barnsley.

    Exactly. Be great if they came up. Naff all at Fleetwood. Got one of those tacky indoor markets every town has that you can walk around in two minutes. One night stay in a cheap guest house B&B in Blackpool for about 20 ish quid. Tram to Fleetwood for about 25 minutes or so for a few pre match drinks. Watch the match then back into Blackpool on the tram for about 5:45 (if it's a 3pm game). Plenty of decent restaurants to have some tea in and then onto the nightlife of places like Club Sanuk.
